Laveta Edwards

Laveta was born in Augusta, GA at Fort Valley. Being a “military brat”, she has had opportunities to live in many different states. Laveta joined the US Navy after graduating high school in Texas and eventually moved to Georgia. While in Moultrie, she has been employed at Heritage Church for over 10 years in Children's Ministry and currently serves as the Connections Director.  Her creativity and heart for others has been impactful as she leads many different teams.  The school year 2023-2024 will be her 7th year employed at Colquitt Christian Academy, holding both Teaching and Office positions. She is currently the Admin Assistant to the Head of School and the CCA Office Manager. Her flexibility, passion for God’s Word, discipleship, and serving others is evident in the variety of positions she has held.  Laveta has two daughters and a sweet puppy named Bella. What motivates Laveta's life is her devotion to Jesus and her desire is to impact the world for God's kingdom.
