Alan Matis

Alan Mathis was born and raised right here in Moultrie. After graduating from Colquitt CountyHigh School in 1984 he attended the United States Air Force academy and received a B.S. inMathematics,1988. He also has a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Valdosta State University, Alan Mathis was born and raised right here in Moultrie. He also has a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Valdosta State University,1988. Mr. Mathis Joined the United States Navy and served our country from 1989 until 2000.He joined the United States Naval Air Reserve in 2000 and retired in 2009. He has owned andoperated Eagles of America, an airport and fixed base operations service and is a commercialpilot since 2004. Mr. Mathis has had an extensive career in aviation that includes attending the
Naval Strike Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) in Fallon, Nevada. He has served on 5 deployments and 2 extended deployments aboard several aircraft carriers including the USS George Washington and the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.
