Erica York

Mrs. Erica York was raised in the small town of Rainsville, Alabama. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in early childhood and elementary education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and has taught elementary through high school students in various settings for 15 years. This summer, she attended the ACCS conference in Atlanta to further her professional knowledge. The classical education model is a passion of hers, and she continues to pursue training in classical pedagogy, philosophy, art, and a classical approach to teaching both communication and visual arts. Mrs. York and her husband reside in Moultrie with their two children, who attend CCA. She is pleased to return for another year of teaching and growth at Colquitt Christian Academy. This school year, she will teach language arts and art classes for grades 5 through 10, and she will also assist with various administrative responsibilities, including the Google for Education system and ongoing teacher education.
