Josh Myrick

Mr. Josh Myrick joined CCA in 2018 and teaches several classes at the Upper School. He holds an associate’s degree in education from the University of North Florida and a bachelor’s degree from The Baptist College of Florida. In 2012, he earned his Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. As a teaching elder at Calvary Baptist Church, Mr. Myrick enjoys discipling and equipping the Body of Christ. Additionally, he is a talented coach and currently leads the Cross Country and Basketball teams.

Mr. John Myrick is honored to be the teacher for his students this academic year. He firmly believes that learning should be an enriching and joyful experience and is committed to guiding his students on this educational journey. With nearly 20 years of teaching experience and 16 years of service as a pastor, he brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for education. Mr. Myrick holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Divinity degree, which is a specialized degree in Bible and theology. Over the past six years, he has been an integral part of the CCA community, serving in various roles, including Athletic Director and multiple teaching positions. He is a strong advocate for making both math and science engaging and enjoyable for all students, as these subjects foster an appreciation for the order of the world created by God and equip students with essential skills to analyze and solve various problems in life. Beyond academic success, his goal this year is to guide all his students in developing strong character and a passion for advancing God's kingdom. He is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of his students' educational journey.
