John Myrick

Mr. John Myrick grew up as a military kid, born in San Diego, California, and experienced life in numerous military communities. Eventually, his family settled in Orlando, Florida, which he now considers home. College soccer played a significant role in his life, and he pursued his passion for religious education by earning a bachelor's degree from Baptist University of Florida. He subsequently continued his academic endeavors by working toward a master's degree at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Over the course of 25 years, Mr. Myrick has served as a youth pastor in various churches across the Southeast and held the position of Director at two distinct Christian camps for a total of 13 years. Additionally, he has been involved in pastoral ministry for 15 years, providing spiritual guidance and leadership to congregations. He is honored to be entering his fourth year as an educator at CCA, where his primary focus is teaching Bible and apologetics.
