Dr. Mo Yearda

Dr. Mo Yearta was born and raised in Britain, Dr. Yearta met her husband, Steve, at the University of Georgia, where she earned a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction.

She has over thirty years of experience in Colquitt County Schools, having served as a teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent. A long-time member of St. John’s, now St. Mark’s Anglican Church, she has a son, John, a daughter, Anne, and four grandchildren.

When she is not involved in community service, she enjoys reading, and her home is “decorated” with thousands of books.
